How to have Quality Life

In this post, I won’t say anything you don’t already know, but maybe I’ll help by sharing some of my thoughts. Life has become fast and stressful, work takes up more and more free time. We don’t have time for family, friends. Lately, I hear from more and more people that eight-hour working hours no longer exist. We need everything more, we do not find happiness in small things. The world of brands has occupied us, some new standards of living have been set, and we have just done it unconsciously.

I stumbled upon a video on Tik Tok of a man talking about how we should stop spending money on useless things. Nobody cares which car we drive, whether we have expensive and branded clothes, which tourist destinations we have visited. We persistently try to impress others with this behavior. Social networks have become the marketing of our lives. If we don’t publish what we bought, if others don’t see it, we don’t find a purpose in it.

That’s exactly what I’m struggling with. Honestly, I love beautiful and quality things, I am a supporter of fashion and brands. When I started the blog, I was thinking about whether to make it a fashion blog. I can afford to take photos in branded clothes, tag brands, and attract more audiences. That is exactly the key to the success of a blog. But I didn’t go that route because I find it rude.

Quality of life does not consist of material things. In my opinion, it is terribly rude to talk about the price of something we bought, to show it transparently, on social networks.

You are obsessed with other peoples’ opinions

How often do you get discouraged because of other people’s opinions? The odds are high that your answer is too often. The bad news is that you’ll never be able to satisfy everybody. The good news, however, is that it doesn’t matter. You have one life and you don’t need to waste it by living up to the standards of others. Build your lifestyle the way you love and want.

Great marketers know how to catch our attention, even if we don’t need anything.  Social networks have become their path to consumers and vloggers and bloggers have become victim hunters. They present us with all these beautiful and expensive products, they create a false image of life. We faithfully follow everything they show us, compare expensive and cheap brands, unknowingly have a bad effect on young people who fantasize about such things.

How to stop it:

Focus on your strengths and achievements. It’s easy to be confident and proud when you accomplish great things, but you need to be your own fan, even if you fail miserably. No matter what others say, you need to stay true to yourself.

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”
