Secret wine

I was born in a city known for wine production. Even during the reign of the Roman Empire, vines were grown in my city, and wine was made. Yet, despite all these facts, I am not a wine connoisseur. I was surrounded by people who like to drink wine but I learned nothing from them. I knew there was red and white wine, And that was all my knowledge. In the years when I grew up in my country, there were no private companies producing wine. These were mostly state-owned companies or small producers in the countryside. At that time, it was popular to mix wine and mineral water, and the name for such a drink is SPRICER. My friends and family drank wine, but they were not part of the wine industry. Just regular people who like to drink wine. They don’t always know what they are drinking necessarily. They usually had no idea of any past wine stories. Or they thought it wasn’t so important to discuss it, show their knowledge of wine and grape varieties.

A new time has come. Wine is pretty cool. Not only does it taste nice and help to lubricate conversations, but there is also a mystique about it. People want to know wine so that they seem more cultured. Wines are given status in restaurant often above the food and definitely the cocktails and beers. Wine is seen as something to figure out. Wine has become a lifestyle, wine gives status in society. Not every wine can be drunk from the same glass. Cases have also become an important detail in drinking wine. Of course, glasses are also a crucial factor in whether we will present ourselves as wine connoisseurs.

There is no secret. The wine industry has just found a way to good marketing and over time has led to perfection. They found a target group that would blindly follow their instructions. Like I said, wine gives us status in society. We think that people will appreciate us less if we are not wine connoisseurs, and all this includes a lot of information that we need to exchange during lunch or dinner, in a restaurant with friends.

For example, I love fashion, but if I see some good piece of clothing on someone or I bought a dress and shoes that I like, I will not explain the origin in detail. This is exactly what we do with wine. If we don’t know the year of production, we consider the type of grape, we think we don’t to a society that is tasting and criticizing what wine is like at that moment.

ALL OF US ARE DIFFERENT. Everyone has their ideal wine, and someone like me doesn’t like it at all. And is nothing wrong with that. We all have very different palates, cultural histories, childhood memories, and favorite meals. We are not the same. There is no perfect wine. There is no right wine.

Serbia is also on the map of wine, WINE ROUTE. Exist a bunch of small oases for wine fans, where they can show up knowledge. Not everyone can be a guest of a particular winery, scheduling is necessary. You go to the winery to get and show knowledge about wine. Wine should be treated with respect and should not be paired with food, one of the conclusions of wine experts. Not every wine goes with a certain type of food and in that way, an arrogant attitude is taken towards high-quality wine. Instead of admitting their failure as salespeople, the wineries have succeeded in convincing the consumers that they are doing something wrong.
