All of us who are on a special diet know how difficult it is to find a healthier version of fast food on the street. The fast-food we are used to is on every corner, available everywhere, at gas stations, on the highway, in shopping malls.
Travel is a particularly big problem for me because almost nowhere I can’t found healthier sweets, almond flour pastries, fruit salads, gluten-free dishes, and additives. Awareness of a healthy diet in my country has not yet been built.
Is it possible that so far no one has thought of selling healthy food in more accessible places? Of course, it is, marketing teams are considering every option for better earnings. But why invest in these types of products when they don’t have enough consumers to bring them the expected earnings.
Is it expensive to make almond flour dough for pizza?
Because of all this, I prepare my snack before the trip.
My favorite coffee is espresso. There is only one cafe in my town where espresso coffee is served with soy milk. In other restaurants and cafes, if I look for coffee with soy milk, I feel like I have committed a sin, I look for the impossible, and that waiters look at me like a weird person. The only good side is that you can order grapefruit or orange juice in the cafe.
MAYBE ONE DAY I WILL SIT IN MY FAVORITE CAFE AND DRINK COFFEE WITH ALMOND MILK, EAT A VEGAN CAKE AND DON’T LOOK LIKE A STRANGE PERSON.
